DVD Project

Dear Friends,

Many of you have sent me wonderful photos, like these above from Carolyn Baldwin Quinlan. I have begun the scanning and labeling, a process that will go on for a while. Everyone will get their originals back before long, plus digital copies.

We've decided not to issue a DVD before the 50th Reunion, but after. That will let us include your pictures of the Reunion itself. So please send me your favorite shots from the festivities in Springfield on Sep 4-7.

As some of you know, I'm undergoing surgery today and the recovery period is 10-14 days. That means that I will not be able to attend the Reunion. I very much regret missing this special occasion. Please send me your pictures and thoughts, so that I (and many others) may enjoy from a distance!

Best wishes,

Will

I'm sure you are at home resting quietly following your surgery yesterday! Quick recovery and remember to eat plenty of protein for wound healing!!!(Just a word of instruction to the professor from the wound care nurse.)

Eat plenty?

Judy, I'm sure you know one of the inevitable consequences of abdominal surgery.

Not to mention the bruising and swelling in most amazing places.

Thinking of you. Hope you recover quickly and with little discomfort. Sorry you will not be at the reunion. We so enjoyed you at the last reunion. Thanks for all you do to keep us all informed and "up to date". Hang in there.

Will,

I will certainly miss seeing you at the reunion, and that you won't get your surprise. Hope you are taking it easy and doing what the doctor tells you. Having surgery can certainly be a learning experience, right? Thank you so much for all you do, and have done for us on the site.

Hi Will,

What a bummer to have surgery at just this time when I know so well how you love being a part of the festivities. It's just like when we were in school and the only time we got sick was on vacation!!!
God speed and get well soon.

I cannot come to the reunion either, but it is totally work related. I would very much like a copy of any DVD full of pictures that you are able to collate. Let us know the cost to do this (including your time) and I would be thrilled to obtain a copy.

HAPPY REUNION TO ALL!!! Have fun and know that I truly would love to be there. Take lots of pictures and turn them in to Will so that all of us can live vicariously through you! I would share some pictures but my Mother in her infinite wisdom threw most of them out when she moved out here to California - - - I have very few!

Recover quickly, Will!

Guys,

Thanks for all your good wishes. I'm doing well and the recovery is moving along fine. Monday will end the first week, and the second should be smoother.

I hope you have a great Reunion, and please send me pictures! I'd especially like to have grade school groups.

Dear Will,
Bob and I wish you GodSpeed in your recovery. Sadly we were not able to attend the re-union...
