Here are early pictures of the Reunion, courtesy of Dick Hart. In this scene, we're greeted at the front entrance to the dining room of Illini CC by Leslie Heineke Sandlin, Ann Tobin Hart, Champ Davis, and Jan Curry Davis.
In this shot, Keith Schnepp appears to be addressing some of the '58 men. I'm not able to recognize all the faces, so perhaps someone who does will send in a helpful comment.

The Pictures from the SHS 50th Reunion are starting to rush into the Blog! In this picture, Keith Schnepp is addressing the Veterans who then led all of us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Those Veterans in the picture and some who were not in the camera's view are: Scott Wike, Joe Manuele, Joe Ebers,Bob Shewmaker, Ray Bluhm, Don Eickoff, Larry Jabusch, Al Kennedy, Chuck Harmon, Allan Stephens, Bob Wicks, Tom Brosch, Lee Leonard, CE Welch, John Brownback, Roy Borg, John Dunn, George Fleischli, Harry Hyndman, Steve Kwedar, Jack Matlack and Chuck Vespa, DeeDee Maason Wood Hopefully I didn't miss naming anyone. It was a moving part of the Reunion to recognize the veterans and to recite the Pledge of Allegiance with them.

I was surprised by the large number of ex-military members (being retired Air Force myself, and knowing that Bob Willis was a retired USMC Lt Col) until I remembered that when we graduated from SHS the draft was in full force, and the first question any prospective employer asked of us was, "How have you handled your military obligation," or, "What is your draft status?"
What I found interesting was who went into which service...
